Eric M. Loper, DDS
Dr. Loper graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1986. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Denver General Hospital. After a two-year associateship in group practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he and his wife, Amy, returned to Oklahoma. Since 1990, Dr. Loper has been in private practice in Oklahoma City. Dr. Loper has concurrently served as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral Diagnosis at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry during that time.
Dr. Loper is an active member of the American Dental Assocation, the Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Oklahoma County Dental Society. He excitedly pursues continous training and education in the latest advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Loper and his wife Amy have three sons: Ben, Matthew, and Luke. Most of their time is spent in the development of their sons. Their activities include church, school and scouting activities as well as running, swimming and cycling.
Machaelie, Front Office Manager
Machaelie joined Dr. Loper’s team in 2006. She worked as a hygiene coordinator and dental assistant before becoming the front office manager in 2008. Machaelie’s favorite part of her job is helping patients have positive dental experiences. She is grateful for all the friendships she has made with patients as well as coworkers. Machaelie is thrilled to be able to return to this great team!
Machaelie graduated in December 2014 with an MS in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University. She is currently pursuing licensure as an LPC.
Kim, Front Office Assistant
Kim previously worked as a dental hygienist for over ten years before becoming a fulltime mother to her two children, Christopher and Paige. Now that they are away at college, she has rediscovered her passion for the dental profession. Kim joined Dr. Loper's team in 2014 and loves getting to interact with the awesome patients and staff.
Kim has been married to her college sweetheart for 28 years. They enjoy playing tennis together and visiting their family on the East Coast. Kim enjoys bargain shopping, walking her beloved rescue dog, Lax, cooking, and entertaining friends.
Sondra, Dental Assistant
Sondra has worked in the dental field since 1972. She began working with Dr. Loper in 2003. Throughout her years in dentistry, she has attended numerous seminars in expanded duties chairside assisting and holds certifications in coronal polishing and radiation safety. She also has two years of undergraduate education. Sondra most enjoys creating positive experiences for patients and being able to work with such a great staff.
Sondra has been very happily married to her husband, John, since 1994. They have one daughter, Machaelie. They also have two dogs, Matilda and Tashina. Sondra stays busy outside of work spending time with family, reading, walking, and enjoying life.
Darla, Dental Hygienist
Darla earned her A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Rose State College and a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. She has been a dental hygienist since 1989 and joined Dr. Loper's team in 2005. She most enjoys working with people to help them care for their oral health and establishing long-term friendships with her patients and coworkers.
Outside of work, Darla enjoys spending time with her family. Darla has been married to her husband, Jessie, since 2007 and they have two great sons, Keipher and Grant. Her favorite pastimes include church activities, sporting events, and lake activities.
Linda, Dental Hygienist
Linda graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1987 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She has been a dental hygienist since that time and joined Dr. Loper's team in 2004. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is forming friendships with patients and coworkers.
Linda married the love of her life, Sean, on January 4, 1986. They have been blessed with three wonderful boys - TJ (and his beautiful wife, JoDee!), Taylor, and Trey. In her spare time, Linda loves spending time with her family as well as volunteering at church activities, running, cooking, and gardening.
